2020 Recap and What to Expect in 2021

2020 was a tough year. We’ve faced many obstacles including lockdowns, global pandemic, and economic uncertainty.

Nevertheless, TCW is totally committed to our mission of consistently providing the highest-quality chess content for all players & fans of the game!

TCW released close to 100 chess courses this year. As of today, TCW Library includes nearly 1000 hours of chess instruction and 1000+ courses in the store.

We recently rolled out a completely new TCW Store, which is user-friendly, way faster, and much more responsive regardless of the device you are on.

To make your experience even better, we are in the process of adding video previews for all the items in-store as well as enabling streaming for all the videos starting with TCW courses.

We’ve added a Gift Certificates option to the store [a long time requested feature]. If you are looking for a chess gift, but not sure which course or bundle to get this is the best choice!

You can enjoy and learn from these videos on your Phone, Desktop, Tablet, or VR Headset.

TCW Academy is also growing strong.

We’ve reached a new milestone of 33 courses, 100 hours of videos, and 219 lessons available for all TCW Academy members.

We soon will be launching a dedicated support group available to all Academy Members.

TCW Blog has added over 80 new posts and now has well over 1000 posts available free of charge to anyone.

Goals for 2021:

  • Deliver new exciting videos and posts from the news presenter and authors
  • Launching an exclusive member’s only group for TCW Academy
  • Add more exclusive perks. features and benefits for TCW Academy Members
  • Roll out preview videos and make streaming available for all in-store courses and videos
