Product Description

We are happy to present the second part of Cheparinov’s Gruenfeld project – Play the Gruenfeld Defence – Part 2. You can find Part 1 here.

The starting position of this database arises after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 d5 4.cxd5 Nxd5 5.e4 Nxc3 6.bxc3 Bg7

Play the gruenfeld defense Part 2

True to his style, Cheparinov always looks for dynamic, challenging, and relatively less explored variations. Therefore, the suggested repertoire is perfect for ambitious players who always play for a win with Black.

The database consists of 19 theoretical chapters, 19 interactive test positions, a Memory Booster, and Video Version (8 hours and 22 mins).

When studying this course, don’t try to memorize all the variations (unless you are a 2700+ player). Nevertheless, we strongly suggest that you take a closer look at all the lines. In this way, you will see a lot of recurring tactical and positional ideas.

Bonus Content

Since the Gruenfeld project builds full repertoire for Black after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 d5, some of you might wonder what Cheparinov suggests after 3.f3 and 3.g3.

In January, Cheparinov will release an update featuring these two important deviations. Besides, in the PGN file of the current database, you will find 7 bonus chapters, providing a full repertoire against the setups with f2-f3 and g2-g3. These chapters are taken from Cheparinov’s database King’s Indian Defence – Expert Repertoire for Black – Part 2.

The bonus content will enable you to start playing the Gruenfeld Defence immediately after studying the databases.

It goes without saying that you will receive all future updates for free.
