This video series will cover a wide range of topics, and you’ll be guided by top coaches NM Dan Heisman, GM Ron Henley, GM Alex Yermolinksy and GM Alex Lenderman. We’ll start with Dan and Lenderman by refreshing all those important endings everyone must know; king and pawn endings, typical rook endings (Lucena and Philidor), rook versus connected passed pawn, a pawn on the 7th and many more. Plus Dan will analyze many instructional games that include endgames played by players just like yourself! Showing us the most common mistakes and pitfalls we can all understand and improve upon.
We then move onto one of the absolute gems of this package, a 14-video series on Rook endings, by GM Ron Henley. This never released footage covers everything you’ll ever need to know about rook endings, a real treat and worth the price of admission alone. (It’s worth mentioning that rook endings are the most common type of ending, with almost 40% of endings being rook endings)
Next, comes the more advanced part of this course, with GM Alex Yermolinsky’s guiding and teaching you how to master many critical endings, including pawn endings, same and opposite color bishop endings, rook vs minor pieces, knight vs bishop, etc.
