We’ll start this week’s edition with the encounter between Nepomniachtchi and Areshenko, an interesting game in a fashionable line of the symmetrical English opening. We can see a middlegame battle of two knights versus two bishops where the pawn structure seems to be the most determinant factor.

Our first game was played in the Universities Tournament held in Armenia. A major upset by a player rated 2223 beating his opponent Ter Sahakyan rated 2601 in fantastic style. One of the best attacking games you can see recently. A must see game!
